PURPOSES:

These general terms and conditions of sale define the conditions, terms and guarantees relating to the sale of products by the Gabriel Couzian laboratory via the company’s official website: www.gabrielcouzian.com hereinafter referred to as our site.

The sale of Gabriel Couzian products via our site is intended for private individuals only and not for resale by third parties. An order on our site implies that the buyer is aware of the key characteristics of the products that feature on our site and implies the buyer’s acceptance without reservation of our general terms and conditions of sale. These general terms and conditions of sale take precedence over all other general or specific terms and conditions not expressly agreed by Laboratoire Gabriel Couzian.

Laboratoire Gabriel Couzian reserves the right to alter the general terms and conditions of sale at any time. In such an event, the applicable conditions shall be those in force at the time the order was placed by the buyer. Product photographs displayed on our site are not binding.

PAYMENT:

You may order and pay by bank card or using a PayPal account.

Payment security:

All information transmitted as part of a payment by bank card is encrypted using the SSL protocol employed by PayPal, the world’s largest online payments system provider.
Fraudulent use of a bank card may not result in reimbursement.

Delivery costs:

Mainland France: for all orders worth less than €39 incl. tax a delivery charge of €6.95 will apply. For orders worth more than €39 incl. tax delivery, by Colissimo suivi, is free.

For the Eurozone, Scandinavia, Great Britain and Switzerland: delivery by Colissimo International is free for all orders worth more than €70.

All other countries: please contact us.

Delivery timescales:

Orders are shipped via colissimo suivi. Average delivery time is two working days, up to a maximum of 10 working days, after confirmation of the order.
Any delay in delivery longer than 10 days should be reported to Laboratoire Gabriel Couzian via email: info@gabrielcouzian.com

Laboratoire Gabriel Couzian cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery due to the post, strikes, inclement weather or force majeure. Any errors in the delivery address will incur an additional reshipment charge on the part of the buyer and an extended and non-guaranteed delivery date.

Damaged package:

The buyer may refuse to take delivery of parcels that have been opened or damaged. The Laboratoire must be informed, within a maximum of 3 working days from the delivery date, by email: info@gabrielcouzian.com  Laboratoire Gabriel Couzian will resend another parcel upon receipt of the damaged parcel. Once this deadline of 3 days has passed, the order will be considered to have been delivered in good condition.

Guarantees, right of withdrawal and non-conformity:

The buyer may return goods that have been ordered and received for reasons of non-conformity to the order or in exercise of their right of withdrawal within 7 working days from date the order was delivered. If this 7-day period elapses on a Saturday, Sunday, bank holiday or non-working day it will be extended to the next working day thereafter. The costs of returning the products are assumed by the buyer. Products must be returned intact, in their original packaging, to qualify for reimbursement. Reimbursement will be made within a maximum of 30 days from the date the Laboratoire receives the products. The buyer benefits from the legal warranty against latent defects on the delivered products.

Responsibility:

The products offered conform with current French regulations. Laboratoire Gabriel COUZIAN cannot be held responsible in the event of non-delivery, in case of stock shortages or force majeure. Orders intended for minors must be placed by a parent or guardian. Laboratoire Gabriel COUZIAN SARL cannot be held responsible for any indirect harm that may occur as a result of the purchase of one of its products. Product prices are in euros and include VAT.
Laboratoire Gabriel COUZIAN reserves the right to alter its prices at any time. The prices displayed on the site at the time of the order are the invoiced prices. Any order worth less than €36 will incur a charge of €8.50 to cover preparation for shipment.

Data protection:

In accordance with French data protection legislation, the buyer has the right to access, rectify and erase his or her personal data. The buyer may exercise this right by writing to Laboratoire Gabriel Couzian, Cité de l’entreprise, 200 Boulevard de la Résistance, 71000 Mâcon, France.

Jurisdiction and dispute resolution:

These general terms and conditions of online sale are subject to French law. In the case of a dispute, the Mâcon courts have jurisdiction.
